Before you get ready to race, what things do you make sure you have with you? What things do you look for on your ride? I'm confident in my quad, just want to make sure I have the other things before hand.

I have a small tool box with all the tools i know ill need. make a checklist when you work on your bike next. you will be able to only take 1/3 of your box after that.
ky jelly. it might sound gross, but spread on you butt and it will help with chaffing.
asprin, take 2 before every race
gum, chew during race, keeps you hidrated and keeps your mouth shut so you eat less dirt.
water to wash up after the race
towels.
shop rags or shop towels
wd40, chain lube, carb cleaner
change of cloths
cd player/mp3 player with pump up music
spare tires
spare tie rods

Check brake pads (front and rear)
axle nut tight
tear offs and roll offs already on the goggles in a ziplock bag
hand guards tight
make sure you have the extra fuse in the fuse box
duct tape (never know)
jumper cables
spark plugs
extra oil
stretch your muscles before you race, you are an athlete believe it or not.
old goggle visor to put on helmet visor in case of mud
extra tires on rims ready to go

We take everything we can to the races, because if it can brake or go wrong it eventually will no matter how prepared you think you are.

Just so there aren't any wrong ideas;
the beer is for after the race, but still deserves the 4th spot on the list.

I always have spare bolts and nuts - nothing specific just leftovers from disassembled quads.

Loctite- in case you take anything apart or change anything before the race you'll want this. Pit stop repairs just fix and go!

I saw duct tape mentioned above ^^^ Better bring 2! Always need it!

this may sound dumb to some but good to others. I always take a spare exhust system with me. i have 2 of them so its easy for me to say that. but even your stock one. I have seen way to many people get hit from the rear and bend and break their pipes. im not saying go out and buy one but if you have it than take it.
