Ok, I need some ALL BLACK shoes for work. I currently wear some Black Dockers, but by the end of an 8 hour shift I feel like my feel are going to crumble. I work at the front desk at a marriott, so I stand on hard floor for 8 hours straight. I dont want to spend more the $150, but if they keep my feet from hurting, then I have no problem spending alot on them, cause this pain is becoming unbearable!

They need to be somewhat dressy, I wear a suit, but hey, comfort first, haha :p

do some stretching

you gotta really stretch out the back of your calf, concentrating on the lower part to stretch out your foot. doing it on the edge of a curb will give you the right feeling.

do this every nite and during the day and you will feel much better soon

dvs i work 8-9 hours a night on the weekends and im fine

Maybe get a mat to stand on. One of my friends whose a mechanic has these mats to stand on that give some cushion on a hard garage floor.

I just bought a pair of Rockport boots and they are the best shoe I have owned in a long time. In fact I haven't had the desire to wear my sneakers since I bought them. They also make nice dress shoes. I have owned at least a couple pair of Rockports and I have liked them all. I have messed up knees so I can tell right away if my shoes are cusioned well enough.

You won't be dissapointed in the rockports. I do agree with knighttime about the calf stretches. Part of my physical therapy for my knees is doing that exercise. It helps with both knee and foot pain. the exercise in combination with a good pair of shoes should help ya.

Rockport is an excellent choice! They come in many widths and cuts plus the offer many styles of black walking shoes.

I've got 4 pairs of doc martens. Two pairs were free, so that was nice. I've got some all black slip ons, they are more on the dressy side. They are probably my favorite pair of shoes and I only paid $60 for them.

All black shox. Unless you have to have boots. Bourne makes damn good boots plus the pimp factor. Doc's aren't as good anymore since they left England. Sweat shops are making them now.

Im on my feet all day and I needed some black tennis tennis type shoes to work in. My friend kept telling me about Rockports for 2 years, I finally went and got some. He was right, hands down a great shoe.
For $60 I got the :
Product Description (Men's Rockport Glynn M)

I might go the prowalker next time, they have a bit more support, but im not complaing at all about the ones I have.
Add on, I also got a second pair at half price so I got some rockport brown leather casual/dress shoes. Hands down the most comfortable leather shoes I have ever worn.

don't get doc's for comfortability. they weigh about as much as 4 pair of steel toe boots. they have to be the heaviest shoe i have ever purchased and i think they are uncomfortable. my new balance, skechers, and bass, shoes and sandals have all been comfortable to me.

i dont know if these are the kinda shoe's for what your doing, but if your looking for comfortable you can't go wrong with Sperry's. alot of people make fun of them and say ah them things are for old men that like to fish. put you a pair on and they'll be the only shoe you buy from now on.

I just got a pair of the new Nike Shox Ride III. They come in all black and are probably the most comfortable pair of shoes that I have ever had. They have the shox on the back in the heel area, and then the air up front for the ball of your foot. I highly recommend them. I where them to work (Best Buy) when I just where a polo shirt, and they feel great. When I have to wear a shirt and tie, I have a pair of GBX dress-type shoes. I have both black and brown and they are suprisingly comfortable. They're not expensive and you can get them from Kohl's or those types of places. I used to wear Sketchers with a Dr. Scholl's gel insert. The GBX are a lot more comfortable, but not like the Nike's.

Any kind of skating shoes will be fine. I've got a pair of black DC's and they feel confortable as hell. My favorite skate shoes would def. have to be Globes though.
