Has anyone out there tried the new HMF Quiet Race System? I sold my old T-4 system due to complaints from the neighbors, but i miss the power. I hear HMF's are good all around and am considering purchasing a system. I read off the site that it has 90% of the power output of a normal HMF system...well worth it if you ask me.. So i was just looking for some rider feedback and possibly some pics..

Well if you sold your T-4 because it was too loud your between a rock and a hard place. The T-4 is somewhere around 95 db which is pretty low for an aftermarket pipe.

The QRS comes in at 100 db which is about 1 1/2 times as loud as your T-4. The bad thing about the QRS is that you cannot run a quiet core, so it is really not that quiet. With the sport series you CAN run a quiet core which gets you around 96-98 db, which is the quietest an HMF system will go. This is quiet for an HMF but still won't be as quiet as your T-4.
