Blaster Or 400ex...please Post!!!

is a blaster or a 400ex better for doing tricks like ground stuff.........long, and fast wheelies and other stuff besides jumping? which is easier to handle (which is lightest?) thanx in advance!!

400ex is faster, is the wheely king, but is pretty heavy

blaster is slow, not to great on the wheelys, but is really light


pick the 400ex, overall you can do alot more with it

blasters r fine, and r easy as hell to get up for wheelies, and for speed wise a 400 only has a little on it not THAT much of a difference

dude stock for stock the ex eats all over it mod for mod the ex will always beat it and on top of everything the blaster susp. sucks and is just to small mabie becuae im 6'4 but anyways the 400ex wins in every catagory nothing against blasters either just stating the truth.....

lol.... i agree.... last weekend i rode my cousins 400ex, and i was like holy sh*t... this thing is WAYYY better than tha blaster that i rode!!!!!!!!!

half the people that are posting in this thred never rode a blaster......... hell there easier to do tricks on then 400's

i hate 400's to heavy and they handle like a slob...... and u dont get a kick while riding it........ its to plane for me

and i bet u i can beat 400's all day long on a track with my blaster

did u really just say they handle like a slob? you obvisouly have not rode one before. ive rode both of them...the 400 is 100 times better....they are faster...you can wheelie them FOREVER!

400ex's are one of the best handling quads out there, easiest to do wheelies on, not bad for jumping... great all around quad.

blaster isnt to bad with handling, easy to wheelie, less powerful, horrible stock for jumping, alright on the trails but the suspension doesnt soak much up.

if your doing ground stuff and have the cash to afford a 400ex do it. if not get the blaster and at least put front suspension, a pipe, and an aftermarket filter on.

this is coming from someone who owns a blaster (2 actually) and has had more seat time on 400ex's than most of you 400ex owners have.

I have rode my friends 05 blaster and I have a 2002 EX.For jumps the Blaster plain out sucks.Even my friend admits it.Also he has motor work done on his blaster and I have a dg exhaust and smaller back tires and I smoke him.

that a nice 700.... but really its about being comfortable and not feeling like a freakin gorilla on the bike... 400s are super nice and will last you longer without having to upgrade bikes

ive ridden a 04 blaster, 05 400ex and my 01 440ex and blasters have bad suspesnion, blasters dont have near as much pull for flat land (2 stroke), not as fast and hurt to ride cause of suspesnion and small and im only 5,10 and 150ibs lol sry if i made any blater owners mad
