For MX, a pipe will probably keep you at the same pace as most other riders out there. Everybody will tell you their opinion on the best pipe, but to tell you the truth, there is a very minimal difference between all of them. If you want a little more power, I would say a high comp. stock bore piston with about 12:1 comp (you will have to run race fuel), and a cam (TC MX grind is very good),

Before you do anything though, do you have an aftermarket suspension set-up? Shocks, a-arms, and an axle will make you a lot faster on a track than the mods I listed above. For MX, suspension comes first, and then the power mods.

Of course, you also need nerf bars, a kill switch, and all the riding gear to race at all in most places.

yep!!! go with chassis mods first!!! i would go with at least a .20 over bore just to clean her up and i dont think i would go quite as high as a 12:1...400's like to start being unreliable when you get aboue 11:1 unless they are pretty beefy such as aftermarket stud kits and stuff like that.... my bike has a 11:1 and its plenty enough for me for the time being
