Well, I was workin on doing the stock silencer gut and do the perforated core and what not. but My welder decided to be a PITA and I'm goin ridin thursday. So since it was so poorly designed and wasnt cooperating, so I had to break down and buy an FMF slip on. Not sure the exact modle yet, I wasnt worried about specifics, I just told the dealer, I want something that'll work with stock head pipe, and I need it by thrusday. How's 300$$ sound for a slip on ! ouch:ermm:

Sounds a little much... I got mine for 215 shipped brand new, but it was an e-series.

damn man that sucks im sure if u look around on the internet u could get 2 day shipping for a fairly cheap price and get that silencer alot cheaper... try www.moto-man.com or www.rockymountainatv.com these are the sites that i have the most luck price wise hope that helps later man

I have paid big money to have parts like Now. One time I bent the axle on my budies 450r. this was on a sat. He had a race the next weekend sunday. so I had like 7 days to get a axle. I ended up paying like 250 for a used axle shipped 2nd day air. had it for thrus.

Actually a member from this site shiped it to me before he got his money!! he event paid for like 80$ shipping. I was soooo thankful that somone would do this kind of a favor. But I got it done.

yea, well I had to get it ordered TODAY. I have to get it in on thursday, do the jetting, get my tires mounted, and make sure everything is in workin order by thursday night
so I have one day, thursday morn-afternoon to mount my silencer and do my jetting and crap. PLus I was MAJORLY pissed at my welder, so I was in no mood to spend the time shoppin around and all that crap, and find a place that could get in here on time, I'm just like whatever, called the dealer, said gimme a silencer, I need it by thrusday. lol.

Finally get to do some ridin, although I spend most of my time on the ATV track or the straightaway whoops section on the trails, but we could still chill a while, I'm camping overnight friday, so I'm ridin all day fri and sat. You knwo u wanna let me ride ur dirtbike:D LOL:p

lol, I'm moving to iowa next month. :D so I guess I wont be seein u this summer. haha. I was talkin about helpin out marshmellow, I guess he's new to dirtbikes? He had a thread a while ago about tips on ridin. Non the less I'll see ug uys there and we can chill. We'll have a big white camper, a little red trailer, 2 z400's, a GMC sierra denali pickup truck, tan in color. And probably an old beater tan and brow ford;)

yea on friday i got a work at 3 so i gotta get outa there wash my bike take a shower and get to work and on saturday i usually leave around 3:30 cus im drained I pretty much ride non stop maybe a break for water but thats it. and id rather not say hi to 428 cus hes just gonna chit on me all over the track lol hey zach what did you hear about the track i was there 2 weeks ago and theyre pretty much the same as usual. yea man, just look for our big camper and truck and what not. How bout we pick a time where we could meet up somehwere for a few minutes? Just to chill and wwhat not, then we can go out and ride. I was thiknin maybe we could meet up at like somewhere, I dunno..at like 12 though?

Oh, and I need to do a chit load to get my bike goin. It's a total rebuild, so yea. My exhaust is the Powercore4. I got it on, boy what a pain. I was gonna jet for it and no airbox lid. I got the supplied needle and spacers and what not, set the clip at the 3rd setting, and that was it. I went to do the main jet, pulled the carb, went to take the bowl off, no go. the srews were in so dam tight they wouldnt busge, stripped to of the heads. called up the dealer, he said try pliers, tried that. Then he told me I'd be fine stock jetting if I just run the pipe and dont do anything else, so thats what I'm doin till after I go, so I can get the dealer to get the bowl off. Should I mess with the mixture screw at all? I took it out down the street, and It seemed like dead on everywhere, maybe lacking a lil in like mid-upper range, but down low it's torqueyer ( haha sp) then ever. I can be in first, just twist it a lil bit like a snap, dam front end pops up, lol. It's like ridin on hydraulics, just bounces right up. The twist throttle seems pretty cool too. It'll take me a little while, maybe 20 mins to get used to it completely. The only time it scared me a little bit is when I turn hard, and I'm like leanin off the bike kinda, and then gun it, that kinda feels weird with the twist...but a good 20 mins of riding and I'll be good. Felt real natural to me to ride with it. Plus it's just so much cooler than thumb:devil:

ill tell you one thing ..we need to all complain aobut that sihttay atv track.. the groomer must have blind folds on when he grooms it.. (he sucks at grooming)

sounds like your jetting is lean...


do you have snap-on skrew dirvers. that is one of the must have tools from snap-on. Any skrew that a normal skrewdriver fails. snap-on one will taker-er out no problem.

no, no snap on crap. I Know the jetting is probably sliightly lean, but I mean, down low it's amazing. Feels perfect, just feels like it cuts of slightly on the top, or maybe I was imagining it, I'll try it out again tomorrow or tonight maybe and let ya now what conlucsion I come to.

once you get the old tires off you will be fine. Put like a piece of wood on the tire near the bead and then hit it with a mallet. Somethings gotta work.

breaking the bead on fourhweeler tires is next to imposible without a machine. I put mine in arbor press with a tool on the end. I can break the bead on 2 tires in about 30 min. lol takes forever. WAY easier to have them done.

yea lol the only trail im going on is the one from the int. track to the mx cus i took em once with my friend and holy jesus were they hard to get through.but yea im usually there at like 8 in the morning parked by the mx track red suv and tiny lil trailor ill be riding with my lil bro on a rm85

i went today and it was dusty. all of the jumps are terrible and no one is taking care of them. however, there were not many people there so it was worth it. you guys will be lucky tom. if it rains. im talkin about the intermediate and mx track, the atv track looked the same. they have some new little wood-chip table top thing.

I dunno if they'll let me, but since I'm campin there, I'm gonna ask if at night time when riding is over, if I can go out with a shovel and groom some of the jumps and stuff, see what I can do. I just wanna give some of em a better lip and what not, maybe fill in some big braking bumps and stuff.

theyll probably let you i went on the mx while people were riding to fix up the one step down they didnt really care

Yo, srry I couldn't ride around more, my friends bike sucks majorly. Hte clutch was screwed up, and it kicked out of second into nuetral anytime I was on the gas hard. The track sucked so bad too. Could even really get any air off anything.

yea no problem bro, when i got there I was like daaaaaaaamn when i saw the atv track, i got all excited and chit cus i thaught the mx was groomed so i head over there and bam. the groomer said he got tired and left so hes coming tonight.(sat). wel whenever you get ur kx running bring it down and well ride som more. lol, well ur definately faster than you made urself sound online. From the way u were talkin I figured you'd like barely make it around the track but u were good. lol, I'm moving to Iowa in may, so I dont think I'll be makin it up there with the kx, lol.
