You should ask Wolffie. He is buying dirt now for his track. You want a clay, because is packs nice, and is very durible.

im paying around $100 a ten wheeler load. that is a decent amount of dirt IMO. i will post up some pics later this week of the jump i am making to get you an idea of how much it would take.

the best dirt IMO is clay. it packs incredibly well, and you dont have to do as much long term maintence as other dirt.

if you dont have a good company to call up for dirt, contact the people who dig up the ditches for the state. they usually are desperate to get rid of the dirt, and you can use it for the bottom layer or your jump.

I get dirt for free... some times it's got rocks and stumps/roots in it though. When they dig properties around here and want to get rid of the stuff they bring it to our yard. Also when road works are going on you can get free dirt/rock... But the stuff on my track is all dug up by me...

free, sometimes they pay me :D

the local pool diggers pay me/give it to me...like $20 a truck load they would sell it to me for just so they can get rid of it...

You got any square hay bails? Ive heard you can build up your jumps with them and cover it with dirt. Im definitely going to try it when I rebuild my track, it will save a lot of digging.

well, theres a new plaza going in down the street from me. they put it right where a big hill was. and theyre putting a parking lot aorund it. so they seem to be getting rid of TONS of dirt.

would it be worth asking for any?

just ask them flat out and tell them what u r doing, im sure they will help u out. dont go to the workers go to the owner of the company that is halling the dirt.
Good luck!
