Well I am going to adjust my clutch because the wheels jump a little when i put it in to gear but anyway i noticed that when I am pushing my quad is nuetral then i pull in the clutch and shift in to first it is harder to roll. Its feels like the brakes are on just a little? Does that have anything to do with the clutch needing to be adjusted? I was just curious. Also i went to adjust the wheel and it was already pretty far out so i am going to adjust it by the engine. How do i do it so i get more pull so the wheels dont jump? Thanks

That isn't normal unless you are riding a Suzuki :blah I say that because my friend has an RM125, and even with a new clutch, it can't be pushed in gear. They are all like that. Anyway, back to the topic at hand. You probably can just adjust it by the lifter arm and it will fix the problem. If that doesn't work, it might be time for a clutch overhaul. See what happens.

ok what i am saying is push ur quad in neutral. Then while its rolling pull in the clutch and shift into first and even with the clutch pulled in it seems to not roll as smooth as when in neutral. I was wondering if i adjust my clutch so it pulls the cable more it will stop that or is that normal.

my bike is a 2000 300ex and it does it...so i hope it's normal...and all the bikes if seen do it....if some1 out there knows this isn't right tell us both so we can adjust our clutches

it is normal. the clutch isint worn out what happens is in nutral the tranny isint trying to spin the motor over. and when u put it in gear it is turning the gears inside and the clutch is keeping the motor from turning over. thats right isint? correct me if im wrong

its harder because the bikes in gear, and is spinnin all that internal crap over now, instead of not turnin anything over like in nutral, its normal
