best pipe after i do the 416?

i have a yoshimura RS3 full right now but i plan to do the 416 kits and i was wondering if the yosh was still a good pipe to have after i do that?

yosh is a not shabby pipe, but id get hmf, lrd or sparks to compliment that 416

LRD all the way.. I got a 460ex with a LRD.. and she runs good

I wouldn't waste any more money for a few tenths of a hp. The yoshi is a good pipe.

The LRD has about a 100.00 difference in price between the full system of a LRD and a Yoshi... And LRD is just a better pipe for everything... it looks better, sounds better, runs better, more exhuast flow, and more performance in races

$100.00 difference from the yoshi, but that is still about $450. I would just keep the yoshi and suffer the .2 hp loss.:p

i just did my 416 kit w/ a yoshi, and i absolutley love it. its just up to you if you want too spend the lots of extra $$$$$ for a new pipe when you already have a great pipe. personally, i wouldnt bother getting a new pipe.

Do what you want.. but the LRD will still give the extra horsepower you need to climb that one hill or to beat that one 4-wheeler you couldn't beat... and LRD has a extra 3 overall peak horsepower over the Yoshi... I believe the Yoshi full system is 4-5 Horsepower and the LRD is 6-8... so the 100.00 is definitly worth it in my mind...

yea why woudl you want an eninge kit without a pipe....*** bag...think about it...with an engine kit and a stock pipe dont expect noticable gains..add a pipe and wow the airflow is there to make the thing run wild

ok whatever that ment... but hes gettin the 416.. so obviously he is workin on his motor, so he is askin what exhaust to go with it... did you get that part.. so I said a LRD... and u said a extra 450.00 if he sells his Yoshi on ebay for like 200 for the full system then it will cost him 225.00 extra so a 416 is what like 180.00?? so that is 405.00... so it wont take 1,000 to do this more like 400.00 and the 2 horsepower is worth the extra money for the LRD...

srry...i reread the post and saw that part...the lrd is a great pipe..the yoshi isnt all that bad though...you could buy a carb or a rev box which would definitly be a better buy in my opinion

There is not pipe that will put out those numbers. The best full systems only have about 2 hp over stock. The 400ex doesn't gain THAT much from a pipe compared to other quads.
