anyone running one of these or shoudl i go buy a Yuasa for $75 from a local store. Also last time i bought a bettery for my foreman the guy told me that i had to charge it b4 i used it. I thought thsi sounded dumb, is that true?

i hav eone in my 400ex(second one, let my bro-in-law have the first for his 300ex and he bought me anew one), had one in my 300ex. they are better than the yuasa...the 400 cranked easier in colder weather, seemed to hold a charge better in colder temps. i liked it and would recommend them...

they come "pre-charged" but it is not a full complete charge. i put mine on a battery tender for about 2 hours before it had full charge

75 bucks is crazy for a little battery one for my truck is cheaper. anyway let me know how the ebay one is cause i need one for half price cant be that bad.

why mess with the wrong stuff,just buy the yuasa part# yt12a-bs.
175 cold cranking amps and a exact retrofit for the 400ex.When periodically charged it willl last many years trouble free.also very good for larger bores and higher compression engines that require a little extra to get them cranking over
