View Full Version : interchangeable arms with 400ex?

okay so i heard that you can use 400ex a-arms on the 250 with a few washers here and there in certain spots? what spots do you need to put them in? just checking. i'm searching for some +2 or 3 arms and figured if the 400 ones fit that wouldn't widen my options.

oh and are the 400 arms wider than the 250's? or are they the same?

400ex a arms are interchangable. I run a set of 2002 a arms on my 88r. As for the washers, i don't know. I had a set of aftermarket polyurathane bushings that i made work with custom cut sleeves and stock a arm bearings. They are the same width as 250r arms. I also run 400ex spindles, but you don't have to. the downside to that is that 400ex front brakes suck, and im not shelling out $190.00 for the adapter brackets to run R brakes.
