ight well im 15 years old from north jersey n i jus got a great deal on this 2002 400ex,$2800 its got rentals ,rear razors ,new uni air filter, ac nerfs, and shock covers im lookin for sum advice or parts on wat i should do next my budget is low and i mostly ride trails...jus comment wit sum opinions or good parts 4 sale.

Congrats on the pruchase! The 400ex is a very reliable machine.

Before getting into additional mods ride it for awhile to get a feel for what you want. Upgrading the front suspension is something to consider.

I have a set of +2 laeger a-arms. can be used with stock shocks and brake lines.

Looks like you need some new rubber.

You might get by for a little while but in the pics it look as though the tires are about toast.

well hes right your tires arnt in good shape but u might wanna consider a slip on exhuast pipe since u already have a filter they will work nicely.
and ether get rid of the tubing aroud the trottle,clutch,brake lines or aleast get red tubing. they look like crap blue.

suspension is expensive and if your on a tight budget like me they dont really fit into the plan yet.

thts sum good ideas... im thinkin of gettin a slip on next just idk which one to get..remeber im on a low budget... n also maybe get maiers front and back in silver...and razors front and back as well..all these things are just ideas and arent gonna be done all at once but sum maybe soon.

i wouldnt worry about fenders now wait till you break one. put money towards the pipes and others.

If you buy a slip on my bill balance slip on works great for me.
