On my front elka shocks, there is a dial that you can turn to harden or soften the suspension, but when it turn it I dont notice any difference. Would there be something wrong with them? Do I need to get them revalved? I cased it the other day and the front bottomed out- but they were doing this way before that. They still jump smooth and ride nice, im just curious

If it is on the rezzie, it is the compression adjustment.

If it is only once per lap, it is okay to bottom the frame out lightly.

If you got the fully adjustables, then there is a adjustment knob on the bottom of the shock also.

Try adjusting your ride height also, raise it up a little if they are riding nicely right now, maybe the ride height is just too low. Should be about 8" in front and 7 1/4" in the rear with you sitting on it (for MX).

Let us know if that helps.

If you dont feel any difference when the quad is just stading there it's normal! You must be on the move to feel any difference. You'll see that between fully out and fully in there is a major difference. Not when just standing there tough.
