Head Porting--Who Did Yours?

Who does good Port Work and is it worth the $$?

I would like to send my cylinder head off ASAP.

Planned Mods:

440 Stroker (should have it back next week)
HRC or Hotcams Stg 3
39mmFCR or 450R carb
Porting (if deemed beneficial)

I would appreciate personal experiences.

if you are doing motor work, you would benefit greatly from porting, I got mine done from a professional Kart racing shop, he did a good job.

I got mine done by the site sponsor, C&D Racing. They did a really really good job and for a very resonable price too. They had all my engine work finished and sent off to me with in 2 weeks.

local mechanic, goes by "DR. G". very good work, kind of an XR400 expert. He is also Scott Summers Mechanic, does all his work for him.

I sent mine from the big MO!! down to Yuma, Arizona ... to KD Cycle... got it all finished up and they even put it all back on my bike and I was back home in MO, in 10 days!! check them out at www.kdcycle.com they have some awesome decked out atv's and golf carts up there... I also came back home with a decked out Yamaha Rhino!!!
