My dad bought me a 03 warrior that he says is mine, but he will not let me sell it to get another quad. I have 2000 saved up, and am getting a job this summer. Should i save to get a new quad, or should i try to get this?

with some of elkas OK shock (look in the selection)
About $1900

and a ls racing axle for About $300 (i will be geting my stock rear shock revalved)

With these mods would my warrior be able to jump, just as good a quad like the yfz 450? and would it be any good at freestyle?

Also i forgot to metion my warrior already has a few minor mods (pipe, filter, jetkit ect.)

dude a warrior is too heavy to freestyle like a yfz but you can jump anything. it all depends on your mods. suspension and re valved rear are the best so fat. ge a arms swing arm stem nerf bars exhaust and motor work and your set. it also depends on what kind of jump you will be hitting. dont go soo big. i would start off at a mx track and session jumps there thats what i do.

Don't waste your money on a warrior if you do you will regret it later. My friend bought a warrior put $600 into it then sold it to his dad and bought a 450r.

With 2 grand to spend you could find a used 400ex and mod it to your liking a little at a time. a warrior with a suspension upgrade is still a warrior. kind of a cross between utility and a sport quad in my opinion. They will take a beating, but with a 400ex you can find alot bigger selection of parts to mod it. As well as a good supply of used parts to replace the ones you are going to break.

I have seen the more experianced freestylers speak of the 400ex as a great freestyle machine.

if you already have 2000 you could sell your quad and make a nuther 2000 and pick up a used 450.:eek2:

or even a race 400ex:eek2:
or a race 250:eek2:

Give him the warrior, get a job or keep working and save your money and buy a quad then
