'06 TRX450 Fuel Screw

I have searched and read several (hundreds) posts about the fuel screw on the 2006 TRX450.

With the current fuel screw (the D shape adjuster) we were hoping that someone manufactured a replacement similar to the ZipTy or Scotts. So far, I haven't found one specifically for the quad. I have seen people advertise them, BUT the TRX is not listed. I even called Scotts and they said that the Scott T handle fuel screw does not work on the quad.

Does anyone know of a fuel screw that is manufactured for the 2006 TRX? Or does anyone know of an aftermarket company making a fuel screw adjuster that will work with the 2006?

I am leary of trying just any aftermarket fuel screw, I have heard of them falling out of the carb.

So, if you know of any fuel screw or adjusters that will work %100 with the '06, please let me know.

I don't know of any specifically made for the TRX, but the ZipTy screw is specifically made for the FCR carb which is exactly what is on the 2006 450r. I've run the ZipTy screw for several months and haven't had it fall out yet.

toward the bottom it has a description that specifically says fits the 06 450R Keihin FCR so that's the one i went with

the dynojet kit comes with a adjuster trhat works i have oneand use it one my 06 so no worrys

There must have been some misunderstanding. I can't imagine who responded to your e-mail. If you said "does your easy adjust fuel screw work on the 2006 Honda 450r" and they messed up, then shame on them. They sell lots of these and know exactly which quads and motorcycles it works on.

The one you found looks the same so I am sure you will be fine.

I got the White Brothers from C&D. It fit good/seemed like it would work good, but it fell out after only about 30 minutes. So I ordered another one today.
