What piston is the better choice I'm thinking je 10.8:1 or the wiseco 11:1 Both at 86mm i want to get a cam for the woods im thinking xr cam with one of these pistons just not sure which piston is better because the price is so close the je i got quoted at 112.00 and the wiseco at 98.00 so its not going to be an econimical question.

I have a Wiseco 10:1 in mine. It's been over a year and a half since I put it in and I'm very happy with it. I also installed a Web 450/451 grind cam at the same time and it works great too!

I've got a JE waiting to go in my 400..

But I've run Wiseco's in my 2-strokes for years.. Most piston failures in 2-stroke engines are caused by other engine problems NOT the pistons themselves.. (vac. leaks, bad crank seals, jetting, etc...)

Both are reputable companies and provide a quality product.

I'm assuming you get a new top end once or twice a year though right?
