What does the HMF slip on sound like compared to other exhaust systems?
Does it sound anything like the sparks? Is it lounder than the sparks racing pipe?

Being that it's a slip-on. You are going to have somewhat reduced noise level due to the smaller header. But, other than that the sound will be very similar to that of the sparks, but no, the HMF isn't nearly as loud as a turndown style, big core Sparks.

But that's not a bad thing... the HMF is more than plenty loud to let cross traffic know you're coming on the trails. My sparks on the 330ex.. is a bit on the obnoxious side. I only use it in secluded, designated riding areas, or racing. For more public designated riding areas, I'll usually toss on the stocker to keep from loosing the land due to ticking off nearby residents.
