I have Elka front single rate fully adjustable shocks. I want to lower them a little to get a more agressive ride hieght. How would i go about doing this? I baught the quad with them on there, so i don'thave the instrustions. thanks alot

i'd say back the preload off till you get your desired height. im pretty sure thats all the preload does is sets your ride height. set the quad on a stand to let all the pressure on the springs off and loosen the bold about 4 or 5 turns or however low you want it tighten the lock nuts and set on the ground and see what ya got. put it on a flat surface. like cement or something very flat and measure from any part on the frame or bumper to the ground. go by that, thats how alot of the top riders mechanics set their preloads i believe. if not someone correct me :cool:

That will make your shock softer!:( To do it right, you should add the SSD spring kit to your shocks. It isn't very expensive and you can do it yourself.
