It's time for some new tires. I am wondering what is the best tire to get. I was torn between razrs and holeshots but i don't know. I don't ever race i mainly ride in trails, sand roads, pastures, and etc... Thanks for all of the suggestions.

Kenda Klaw's or Kenda Knarly's are by far the best all around tires- I have 5 stacks of tires( 6 high) in my shed of various tires to run since I race x-country, or maybe try the new GNCC tires that are new to the market, but price and reliability- the Klaw or Knarly's will dominate.

For the cheap price- you cant beat good ol' turf tamers, soft enough for the drags and durable enough for the trail- they just have a thin side wall.

razrs have a lot of side bite and come in a choice of 6-ply. put about 2 pounds of air in the back in each and put about 6 in the front on each. perfect for wheelies. also the holeshot hd's are good for wheelies. best sand tire for wheelies i probaly say the sand shark or the hauler or the sand star

Thats right....funny thing I trail rode and and started racing a few harscrambles a few years ago on a 250x. I had turf tamer rears 20x11x9 and everybody laughed saying I would punture one in 5 minutes. I ran those tires for 2 years and never got the first flat or hole in them, and there all my buddies were getting holes in their 6 ply holeshots  Tires were still on it when I sold it. And I paid $65 for the pair. I run holeshot HD's now running GNCC's but I still say you can't beat those tamers

Holeshot HD's are amazing tires and I run the Holsehots on Hipers carbon wheels!! The Holseshots are amazing in every condition! I paid about 230.00 for my whole set of HD's

I run Knarly's on the rear and Klaws on front, and this is probably the best tire combo I have ran on my 400. The Knarly's bite in everything and the Klaws on the front steer awesome. I would highly recommend this combo to anyone.
