carb headakes

does anyone know what I have to do to get mid range[1/4 to3/4 throttle] to stop sputtering and what might be causing it, every time that you hold the throttle for a few seconds it sputters or backfires I've played with the need clip but notting happenes the other parts of the throttle are fine. any help would be great.

That sounds like your in the correct area with the needle.
Is it spitting any black smoke out the tail pipe when this happens?
Chock and hot start is off correct.
