how big of a extention should i get on my a-arms on my 400ex and im planning on gettin 450r shocks is that a good idea?....if u would let me see some of ur 400ex's!

if you're planning on getting R shocks are you getting them revalved? What kind of riding do you do? then we'll be able to help with aarm width.

track riding jumping and trails i bottom out way to easy with the stock shocks

if u interested in a good lt front end i have on for sale. i would say go plus 3.

i have lonestar a-arms with rebuilt 450r elka shocks and it works good for me.

Yeah plus two or three. Depends on how much trail you do. If it's primarily the track go with the plus 3s.

I have a really stupid question.
What does +2 or +3 mean?

I'm thinking something to do with the length.
+2 is suitable for trail riding
+3 might be better suited for track

It means how much wider per side it is than stock. So having +2 aarms would make your quad wider two inches on each side, four inches over all. plus one or stock width would be best for trails. And plus three is what I'd run if I raced more mx.
