Okay, I have a mildy modded 300ex and its about time to get rid of those piece o' **** ballonies that come stock on it. sooo. what is the best all around sport tire? Seems like Razars and HoleShots bog up in mud? Im thinking Kenda Klaws maybe? But i need something that slides great and hooks up in everything [dirt, (some mud not alot tho), and snow] what do you riders prefer and what is the best ALL AROUND tire? (I ride fast woods trails and a rough track).
Also id like to keep the price sorta reasonable.
(this also happens to be my first thread)

Thanks for the repys, but I would really like to keep things fairly cheap it would be great if I could keep it under 60 bucks per tire. So how do razrs and holeshots do in mud and snow? seems like I see them filling the cleats and loosing traction in those conditions?

for the front tires i prefer bandits, they are great for fastwoods riding and are more of a low profile tire for high speed turns, there back tires could be better but Provide wicked tractoin but are still good in sliding around turns once you get about 15% of the tread off of them, but another good rear tire is the Irazr, It has great traction and is excellent in sliding around corners but wear pretty fast. But I like the bandits

And they are great in mud and snow. The traction on the rear tires is awsome.

Ok between Razrs (not razr 2s) Holeshots Kenda klaws, or Kenda Knarlys? BEST TIRE? Has to hook up in loose dirt, mud, snow, and slide well. What is the best ALL around performance tire that does all of that???

i like those kenda vipers for all purpose. they have alot a tred and still will slid corners.

For the 300ex, IMHO the best all around tire would be 20" Kenda Klaws. w/ 20" Razr2's up front. Need's same diameter front/rear unless you're running aftermarket suspension. Otherwise you'll be nose high since you really can't adjsut the ride height of the stock shocks without adversly affecting the stiffness/softness of them at the same time.
