Engine Ticking

I am trying to figure out what is causing this since its getting on my nerves.No matter how long its been running my ex has a constant tick to it you can hear quite easily at idle.It seems it gets louder throughout the revs.What could be causing this?I was thinking of adjusting the valves since I have never done it yet.:ermm:

Oh ok I get you now.Yea Im gonna get them adjusted I thought you meant like how they seat or something else I dont understand.Thanks.
