What kind of terrain would actually hurt my quad if I took this off?I ride most of the time at a sandpit or up the sides of roads.Thanks.

A stump, rock or log in the wrong spot can break your swingarm, swingarms are only cast aluminum and arnt very strong....

More than likely if you ride trails your gonna get your rotor bent or swingarm broken... for the like 2 pounds it weighs id leave it on.

If there are rocks or other hard debris more than 4" tall you'll risk damaging the brake disc, chain sprocket and swingarm. Also if the wheeles are in a low spot, like ruts, the ground clearance can become zero or less.
