Is your chain supposed to be a little loose and what should it look like when its on good...

I think according to the factory owners manual it is from 1 3/16 to 1 9/16 inch slack between the tops of the sprockets when measured from when held up,the top,to when dropped, the bottom.Hope this helped.

ya it should be about 2 inches slack without you on it.
