Chevy s-10 xtreme pick up truck,.,.,.,.,

by next year i will be able to haul my own ***** around to the mx tracks, so i will need a truck and i am very interseted in the chevy s-10 xtreme pick up, what do you guys think about them..........

does anybody have any experince with them, how do you like them etc............................

i am looking at the v6 4.3 l i think a long those lines ...

ive got a regular 95 s10.. i dont like the xtremes...most of them have the 4 cylinders in em but the body kits and wheels are cool
What I want is an s10 ss...but they are kinda hard to find..

I really want a gmc syclone:D

The Xtremes are cool trucks with the v-6. If thats not enough power down the road for you, one company now makes superchargers for it, i think its either vortech or paxton. Imagine that little truck with 300hp.

S-10's r sweet trucks, my uncle just got a 2001 w/ the v-6 and its awesome. I'm going to buy his old 87 S-10 w/ 233,000 miles, its only broken down like 4times. Thats pretty good for how many miles it has. The extremes are cool but i hate the lightnings, thats mainly cuz i hate Ford, but whatever floats ur boat.

Lightning are sweet ***** truck man, super charged V8 puts out 440 lbs of trouque, those fly when you lay on the gas, put on a pipe filter and she roars...

the s-10 xtreme is a sweet looking car, the first mods i am going to do to it once i rode it for a bit, is add ground effects, new sound system, black light on the inside for night riding, K&N filter and gibson super truck exhaust system..... and a red or yellow colour V6 of corse but the only thing is that hopefully my 400 will fit in the back or can you get a trail hitch and system for them???

no flame intended but extremes are tired. The ground effects are ugly...the rims are too small...and they aren't that fast. Why pay the extra cash for silly looking options. Why not just get a stock s10 with the V6...drop it (or bag it) throw some 18's on it and a couple other little things and you could laugh when you roll past a stock extreme. I'm more down for 4X4's but i've seen some nice mini's, yet none of them have ever been extremes.

Just my $.02 (save some money and make a truly unique truck)

I dont think a V6 is big enough! And they are so low..when your ridin into a MX track(some that are bumpy) you could bottom! Personaly I like the 4x4 s10 with a v8!:D

Chevy makes a great product..my truck has had zero problems besides me hitting a deer at 70... and a starter..and I beat the crap out of my truck...

so when I drop a 327 engine in it...built of course...Ill show you just how ricer it is...:huh

i think i might go with a dodge truck or the s-10, i haven't really looked at the f-150 but i heard fords break down a lot, like my dads service truck that he uses for work i think it is a 350 or sumthing like that .

dude dont waste your time get a 1997 gmc seria with a 454 ,7.2 leiter (i think) and an 4 inch lift with 36 inch tires. that is what i drive in the winter and take to races. lol that is our work truck it is bad ***.

i hate the s-10's they seem like a wannabe truck, ive got a 94 dodge ram 1500 2 wheel drive with none of the accessories like a/c and the thing rips, it hauls my quad in the back and 4 more of my friends quads and one dirtbike in a trailor and its like theres nothing on the back of it

thats kind of what i am looking for, not a big huge peice of metal 4x4, i want something small but will hold 3-5 ppl and can hold my ex with a lsr axle at +4 but still have the power to tear apart the tires.

If you want a nice sporty pickup get the Ford Boss 5.4 The pictures on the site dont make it look as nice as it is in real life. It is a bit more expensive though but has a lot better stuff. It comes with 20's, yellow and black leather, and yellow carbon fiber. Its 36k with every option.

I've got a '02 Dakota w/ the 4.7 V8 and a 5spd (4x4)... It hauls.. ~250 hp and it'll spin to 6500+ RPM :D



Then when you get sick of it you can trade it in for the Ram SRT-10 aka the lightning smoker ;) 500 cubes, 500 horse, 500 ft/lbs of torque, viper motor, tranny, and brakes.. (a viper w/ a bed lol!)..
