Well guys i tried to keep the other post up here but it seems to keep falling with no response, so i will start a new one.
So far the motor is fully bolted in with all the mounts done (I'll try and get pics up asap). The chain is on but I might have to move the motor over a little more to make sure the sprockets line up. I made a custom yoshimura exhaust for it which is just about done. It will be probably the coolest and most original part on my bike. (see picture below). I have a 400ex oil tank to use but don't have the oil lines. Does anyone here know what size oil lines to use? Also, if someone out there has done a hybrid like mine, I need to know where the feed and return lines are on the motor. If you dont recall what motor im using, its a yz426 in a 250r frame. Pics will really help me out there. Also, I need to know if a 400ex air box and boot will fit. once I have the airbox situation fixed I'll have this baby running in no time. can't wait to hear it purr.

P.S. Has anyone used a stock 250r radiatior with the 426f motor? will it keep it from overheating? I'm saving for an oversized radiatior but can't get one in time to start riding. I just want to be able to ride without overheating the motor or worse, seizing her. Let me know guys, all comments are appreciated.

Right side of the motor is the in line and left is the out line. All you have to do is hook only one up and kick it!! watch the oil come spraying out the side!

I don't know about that exhaust, I think this one would suit you better

Did somebody wrap that in CF and rivet it on? That is sick. I'm doing it to mine.

I could still do that if I wanted to

It is an actual carbon fiber exhaust from a 426 I modified for the hybrid.

first off, the feed for the tank

it is on the kicker side, you will need the ST0CK YZ426F line for it, and the ST0CK 400EX line that comes from the bottom of the tank, then rubber hose like seen in the picture attached, to attach them to each other using hose clamps as you see in the picture

next you will find the return for the tank behind the shifter on the shifter side

you will once again need the YZ426F return line, and the return line for the 400EX oil tank, and then use the proper length rubber tubing to attach the two, and make them fit nicely without any pinches in the tubing

this is how the tubing is run on my houser yz426, its long but it doesnt put any bad bends in it that would restrict flow in the return to the tank

the hose i am talking about is the red one as stated in the picture

it runs from the top oil line in the tank arching so it touches just about the tank, then down to the bottom of the shifter side timing cover case, then between the case and frame rail, to the oil return located behind the shifter like the above post shows

if you have any questions i will be glad to help if something doesnt make sense, goodluck!:macho

XRXMXCX I couldnt thank you enough for those pictures. Appreciate it big time bro! heres some pics of what it will most likely look like when the hybrid is done. A few minor things will be different like, the bumper and nerfs are gunna be satin black. still sexy though!

Thanks XRXMX and MEAN250r. I really do look forward to racing or even just riding with you XRXMX. you're not to far away. ROAD TRIP!! our hybrids are like brothers! they look so much alike which is sick as hell. I'm gunna try and photoshop a banner with your quad next to mine. I'll post it up if I finish it.

BTW, XRXMX, what throttle cable did you use? I've been told a yfz throttle cable works fine. Let me know about that. Are you running an oversized radiator? cant really tell by the pics. Thanks a lot guys.
