I have a stock 02' raptor 660, and the stock front shocks SUCK! I was wondering how I could get a little better front shocks for cheap. I ride fast trails, jump, and race on a home made track. One upgrade I have heard of is YFZ shocks! How much better are they? Do they bolt right up? If not, whta do you have to do to make them fit?

YFZ shocks do indeed bolt into a Raptor... with minor modifications. You need to either cut an opening the the lower a-arm below where the shock bolts in or trim some of the material off around the lower shock eye. I've yet to hear from anyone with a Raptor that did this that was NOT happy with the change. Also, you don't have to worry about over-stressing balljoints, like you do with Banshees, Warriors and Blasters.
