Chit, I knew you were going to ask that. I'm sorry I don't remember. Call Rossier Engineering, they can tell you. 715-341-9919. There are a couple of other tricks Rossier will tell you about too. Green wire mod and drilling out the crankcase tee. Good luck. Sorry I couldn't have been of more help.

the hmf needle is MUCH cheaper. i paid $10 for mine and if i remember correctly honda wanted almost $30 for the crf needle.

i used a yamaha ncvq needle for a yzf 450 bike. it was only $13 from the yamaha dealer. basically the same thing as the cfr needle.

i hope its the right 1. the brand new parts unlimited catalog had a # for it.

as long as the aluminum filter cage flange fits the airbox it'll be ok, if your running no lid

if not i'll have to return

have you installed it yet?
i just picked my up with the adaptor to eliminate the stock backfire screen. i put it on and the bike wont start, i put the stock filter back on and it starts right back up.
i called twin air and they asked if i oiled the filter and i said of course i did. he told me that you should wait 12 hours or so after you oil a filter before you use it on a bike. he said the fumes from the filter oil wont let the bike start..... i never heard of that before but... i guess its possible. but even if i take the filter off and try to start the bike with no filter it wont start either. put the stock on back on, bang starts right up. i think that the stock backfire screen is so restrictive that with out it the carb may now need to be tweeked.
