I finally recieved my arsfx front end. The craftsmanship is second to none, the install went fairly smooth. I will be testing them out tommorow @ my local mx track. I have my precision stabilizer on the way, I should be recieving it next week. Im also ordering a hmf slip on today, and the trail tech crf conversion. Sometime next month I will be porting my head and getting valve work, and dropping in a 14:1 stock bore piston. Enough of my rambling here are the pics.

I had originally ordered the arsfx pro-lites. But they never actually made them So I ended up getting the arsfx promax for the same price. Only diffrence is the diameter. I paid 1800 for the front end.

Can i ask how the did you get the skinny hood on?

I have been trying to fit my quadtech hood on my 450r and it seems that the plastic has to come in a lot tighter??

any tips would be great

BTW really sharp 450....

I was having the same exact problem, you need to remove the fender bracket, so your able to squueze the fender in tighter. Its really gonna be a two person operation, one person to squeeze the fenders together an the person to drill the holes.

So i will not need the front fender bracket (that is the one that attachs to the frame above the shock mounts and then runs to rad support?? Or do you mean the ones at the top where the push rivots pop into?

Thanks a lot for the help!

did you go with the +3 or +2. Reason Im asking is that you looke alot wider than our +2 is. I think we measured up right at 49inches with the Hipers

LOOKS REAL GOOD!:blah:

I am not sure if they are +2 or +2.5. I did measure them and they are exactly 49" with the 4+1 hipers. Might just be the picture that makes them look longer.

Hows your build coming along?

Well I went to the mx track, and I have nothing but good things to say about the setup. It handled everything I threw at it no problem. It was really amazing. All my buddies rode the bike, and they all liked it alot. I also rode all my buddies bikes, they all have diffrent setups lonestar/pep, laeger/pep, lonestar/axis. They handled just as good as any of the others.

yea im still waiting on my brake lines also, but have been using the stock ones meanwhile.

Only thing I dont like about the ars-fx a-arms is that they didnt come with grease fittings. I am thinking of maybe tapping some on.

Hey off topic but. Can you tell me, does your foot brake lever hit your nerfs?? We have the UM and they are basically the same as the AC and ours hits REALLY BAD

Also, did your right side foot peg come with a xtra metal plate welded on it ? ANd........... What foot peg bolts did you use??

The threads on ours doesnt go far enough up the bolt, you run out of threads before the foot peg becomes tight.

Also, do you know if ther is any difference with the 04,05 and 06 for the nerfs??Our nerf box doesnt show a specific .

Nope my brake lever doesnt hit the nerf bars. As for an extra metal plate, I dont think so either I just looked at it now and they look the same. I used the bolts that came with them, they seemed to tighten up fine.

The only problems I have had with my nerf bars is really bad rattling.

Next nerf bars I buy im just sticking with pro armor.
