whats all included and how much are most of you paying??

I like how Honda changed the airbox since most do not use a lid anyway!!

I'm pickin up my 06 tonight....... I'll get some picks on here when its done......Got some Laegers and Elkas ordered...

Yes, there are ones specifically for 2006's since they are quite a bit different from the '04-'05 models. The HRC kit is composed of an air box mod, jetting, camshaft, cdi alteration, midpipe, and I think that's all, but I could be forgetting something. Honda charges $360 for the kit. Get your dealer to throw it into the deal if you can, otherwise anything under $500 installed would be a pretty good deal.

i got a question?just did install my hrc kit 06 on my 450er !!a run with the lid on!!but when i'm on the 5 th gear and i put the gaz to maximum the bike seem to run hardly it's like if there would be a kind of cut off ???it's because i'M running with my lid on or that i just install the kit and it'll be ok after a kind of break in?:(

I just got a HRC kit for my '06 on Epay. 269.95 + 10.00 to ship. Like mentioned earlier, my local dealer(s) wanted 360.00+ (+tax)
Anyways, is the kit something I can install? I do my own muscle car engine builds, etc. But dont have much exp. on late model liquid cooled 4-strokes. Install labor (@ dealer) seems to be around 300.00. Does the kit void factory warranty? If you add a slip-on muffler, is further jetting required? Thanks in advance~Guy

Read through the instructions a little closer. I don't believe you will find anything that says put your lid back on.
