worth upgrading head to a 265 ported?

is it worth upgrading my stock motor with Ported and polished GT Thunder 265 Cylinder that is stage 3 porting thats for sale in the classifieds. and what will i need to do to make it work with my stock 86 250r. is it worth shelling out the money just this head or should i just rebuild the stock motor for now.

it will definately be an upgrade from your stock motor... i looked at the ad, and would be curious to see pics... if i was you and i bought it, i would have it honed and would buy all new pistons, rings, etc...
