350x conversion shock?

I got an 85 350x swinger and linkage coming for my 300, and i'm in the works of getting an axle, carrier, brake caliper and rotor. I was wondering if any other shock than a 350x shock would work with the conversion. I was looking into 250r shocks, but was wondering if i'd just be better to go with a 350x shock, or if anyone had tried another shock with the rear end setup. Thanks a bunch! :D

the 350x shock will work the best with that setup since it is valved for that swingarm but i am sure you could find another shock with a remote rezzy that would fit but it may not work correctly
