modded KFX vs. stock 450R

hey i got a kfx400 with a hmf full system and a k&n filter and powerlid...i figure im makin about 38-39 horsepower. my friend is probly gettin a 450r soon. will i b able to beat him in a drag? if not, should it be a close race?

yeah i figured the only thing that made me think i might have a chance is i thought the R's had around 41 hp and i thought i was makin about 38 or 39 and he'll be new on a clutch

If your buddy is getting an 06 450R then your going to need more than exhaust and a filter to beat him with that kfx. He would have to stall the bike on take off for you to win.

your not makin 38 hp... youll be lucky if your close to 35....

Yeah, you aren't anywhere near those power outputs plain and simple. Sorry to say, your buddy is gonna destroy you as long as he can ride.

Yeah I bet that you are lucky to be making 32 horsepower. The stock 06 450r's are making anywhere from 36-37 horsepower. Horsepower means nothing if you cannot ride. Dont count on winning unless your buddy stalls.

yeah it depends on the rider 100 percent i almost beat a kfx400 with my 250ex till he pulled off so its all in the rider it doesnt matter if you are producing 50 HP and if you suck at riding your gonna get beat

according to the dyno on this site im makin 35.5 hp
