I am at 1500 feet above sea level and I have a 400ex with a 42 pilot and Dynojet main jet 175 .............. how many turns out shuld i put my air/fuel screw? does my jetting sound right? My mods are in my signature.

the only way you can find out is to troubleshoot. to make it ALOT easier though, go cut off some coat hanger wire about 2-1/12 to 3-1/2 inches long. then sharpen one end of the wire to make it look like a flat head screw driver. next bend the other side so that the whole thing looks like a allen wrench. i carry around one of these tolls with me everytime i go riding because it allows you to adjust the fuel screw on the go. btw wit the higher elevations you will want to turn the screw clock-wise to lean it ;)

my fuel screw is d shaped not a flathead........ thats another differnce between 04 and 05
