Ive never used one wat exactly does it do? just make it so the handlebars do get jerked out of your hands if u hit a wierd rut or sumthing? thanks

What was said above and also helps the front end from twitching. The biggest bennifit for me is the bars getting ripped out of the hands on tight trails...

red4r: where do you ride, I mean what conditions?

Even though I didn't think the stabilizer would help all that much in the sand it really did a lot, the rutted and choppy sand sucks. I did a before and after with my stabilizer. I also like it for my desert riding, cuts down a lot of the washed out areas.
