I just got my elka rear for a 400ex and told them to set it up for the gt thunder linkage. I told them i wanted a dual rate shock and all that good stuff. I was expecting to get a dual rate but i got a single rate. Is this because of the linkage ( they didnt see a need for it ) or did they mess up? And does it really matter? Thanks for the help.

From what I know.... GT thunders rear shock isn't ssd or zps. Eka double rates are! So I'm sure if your planning on running Gt's link it would have to be single rate.

I got the mx linkage. and i had it on with the rear stock shock and it lowered the rear pretty close with the zps fronts that i have.

With the linkage you are supposed to have just a single spring. The linkage lowers the bike. Dual rate ZPS would be to low.
