View Full Version : Plastic Scratched baad....HELP

hey every one...i just bought some new plastics....and well me ya know kinda stupid:p went out and rolled the 400 on gravel....well the turnout was plastic had major deep scratches brake lever bent torn up Klotz and Trinity sticker:p scraped brake fluid holder and me well a tear in the Fox pants but ahh well...... anyways i was wondering whats the best way to fix it besides new?? is there any way i can emery (sp) cloth it out and buff it ??hel* i dont know what do you guys think???/////let me know i hate to see it scratched when its new plastic......THANKS for any info:D

Ya i used PC plastic renew on my old blaster and it worked great! i was very impressed with it!

WELL I WAS CONSIDERING THAT BUT IS THERE ANY OTHER WAY I CAN DO SUMTHIN WITHOUT MESSIN IT UP?? LET ME KNOW AND THANKS FOR THE REPLYS SO FAR

I used sand paper to smooth out the scratch then a propane tourch to bring the dhine back. Just keep the flame moving and once you see the plastic get shiny its done. Don't hold it in one spot too long or you will melt the plastic.

or use a heat gun so you dont melt the plastic too bad

just get new plastic.....cant ride around all scratched up!!!:D

torch it then plastic renew will work great

i've heard a lot of bad stuff about the pc stuff. like that it stops workin after a while. i say just leave the scratches there..think of em as battle scars lol
