300/400 carb

so i already have a 300 jetted carb & a dial-la-jet, for u's not knowing what that is, it is a jet that gets gas from the bottom of the carb from the bowl & puts it bac into the air tube running into the carb. now would i be better off jsut gettin a 400 carb or should i just keep the set up i already have? if i get the 400 carb can i keep the dial-la-jet on as well?

im sure the dial jet can be fitted to the 400ex carb.do you have any motor mods that would warrant a bigger carb?
