Wait until you guys see the project I am starting. I just got my hands on a complete 1989 CR 500 motor, and I am going to put it in a rolling 250X chassis i have had sitting around for quite some time. Don't bother telling me it's going to be a rattle trap, I know.
I am going to make a purpose built drag quad. I live 10 minutes froma drag strip where I hand out alot. Bikes are rally popular there, so I figured what the hell. I will try to post some before and after pics.

im not too far from you i want to see that when your are done.i have a cr250 motor in a blaster and the vibration isnt even an issue.its the fastest blaster in the tri state area...:D

I'm trying to work out the engine placement right now. It's a bit difficult. I can't find a happy medium between chain alignment and keeping the pipe from hitting the front of the frame. I may have to have a cusrom pipe made for it.

go ahead and dent the pipe if you have to.or you may have to cut and reweld the pipe once you get it to fit the frame,no biggie;)

I would do that if it wasn't a nice FMF pipe. I was thinking maybe more along the lines of fabricating a new neckbone on the frame.
Wouldn't be very hard, its just 1 inch sqare stock. I do have a TIG welder at my disposal.
