This canadian dudes sent me their price list and it is just rediculus. The Elite series went all the way up to almost 1500$ for a pair. That is crazy.
Do you thinks guys there are better deals with AXIS or PEP??
Everyone says Elka is the best but they went a little crazy

Also check into Stadium's. I am not sure on price, but C&Dracing can help you there. They are awesome shocks!!

If you had the prices in canadian, use xe.com to convert it in anything you want. Also, the elite's got low and high speed compression and rebound adjust, which will add quite a few bucks to the total price. I don't think more than 0.001% of the guys here can ride elka elite shocks to their potential. I got pep zps with comp only adjustability and I just don't know yet how I will be able to ride them over their potential....

If you are a weekend rider all that you need with a tripple rate rec. series setup with no ressy.

Custom Axis and PEP's are usually more pricy than Elka for a compareable shock.

Very few people actually need the elite series shock. Most people that buy them do so because the don't understand suspension and just want to be sure they got the best. If your a racer the triple rate with compression adjustment would be sufficient.

I'd be looking into TCS shocks. Todd builds some of the best stuff out there.

if you're looking to spend less money just get a Recreational Series set from Elka, I think they are about $800 or so, I could be off though

Most of the time you get what you pay for. The Elkas are some good shocks made custom then dynoed.

I dont know what quad the origional poster has.. but getting a pair of stock shocks that are comp/reb adjustable revalved and resprung is a great way to go.. especially for a rec rider.
