I want some pros and cons of the 2 tanks before I order one. I like the way the stock tank has room for your knees if that helps any.

The clarke has a gigantic ball catcher on the top of it but has more capacity than the IMS. The IMS tank fits like *** but looks better and that is about the main differances.

I think your standing a bit too far forward if your catching your balls on the clarke ... try leaning back a little

the clarke does have a lil bit of a hump on it, but nothing that should catch your balls... its $25 cheaper too, so i went with it, quality looks like honda oem, and fit perfect

At 5'4" sometimes I just don't have the length in the legs to do such a thing. Especially the one time I got lazy and left it on for MX and somehow hit neutral through a whoop section :eek2:

My IMS fits fine, only problem is it is tight around the stem and you may have to grind a little on a factory stem. I like the looks of the IMS better too.

Anyone have a pic of an IMS tank?

Does the clark do this also 450robot? or it there space between ur steering stem and tank?

Has anyone had problems with the Clarke 450r tanks leaking? I have seen quite a few 400ex clarke tanks that leaked. Just wondering if the 450's have the same problem.

yup, no problems, if you have any more questions, just ask

AND! do not sell the mounts and petcock off your stock tank! you need to transfer them to the new one (any aftermarket, no matter what brand tank requires the stock hardware)

dont make the mistake i did and sell the stuff hahaha

thanks for the compliments on my quad, i appreciate it

I had a Clarke on my old 250R and I have an IMS on my 450R. The Clarke seemed to have a little better fit and finish. Just my two cents!

Can you post a pic of the 450R with the IMS tank?

Does the stock gas cap transfer to either the IMS or Clarke tank?

no, but they come with the gas caps, so no worries
