Help trading my 400ex for 450R

I have a 05 (3 month old) 400ex, piped and jetted. i am going to trade it tomorrow for a 04 450r, and $300.00 the 450 is in just as good shape as my new 05, rode very little, tits on tires still.

Is it worth the trade? I have not rode the 450r?

Somebody must be looking for electric start. That's the only reason I can possibly see trading a 450r for a 400EX.

To the original thread starter : Go for it. The 450r is a much better quad. It has better suspension, and much more potential in the motor. Sure, an extra 50cc doesn't seem like a whole lot, but the entire motor design is just superior.

A pessimistic veiwpoint--but valid and a good comment. Make sure someone isn't trying to unload a problem-bike. If everything seems a-ok then you've got yourself one heck of a deal.
