ok i have whats in my sig

i want to get the head ported

is everything else recommended..ie valves, valve job, rockers, etc

and if so, some recommended manufacturers of these parts

i did searches but everyone just ends up arguing

please dont suggest if you dont know

and i dont need a tutorial on how to port

just want advice to those 400ex owners who know their shiat

thanks...dont mean to be a dick just want straight answers.

Me personally, with what you have done I don't see a need to go with different valves or rockers. I've been running a stage 2 hotcam and a stroker hotcam now for some 3-4 years. Never had an issue with rockers or valves. But this last total rebuild I did go larger on the intake valves. Kibblewhite makes 1mm larger intakes. If you really pump the motor up, then yeah sure, do valves. Otherwise, you may see a difference, but I don't see it as being a huge difference for the extra money. Also, I'm still running my stock factory valve springs. No problems yet. As far as springs go though, you might want to contact hotcams. I'm sure you know that they recomend stock rockers and valve springs. An aftermarket spring might put a little more pressure on the cam and cause the cam or rockers to wear pre-maturely, but I don't know that. Just a suggestion to call hotcams before you upgrade there and find out. Hope that helped a little...
