Will 400ex rims fit on a 300ex?

Someone told me that stock 400ex rims won't fit on a 300ex. Fact or fiction?

im 99.9% sure 400ex wheels WILL fit 300ex hubs!

they will fit on the rear. but the fronts might be different. my 300ex had a closer bolt patern in the front than the 400ex. maybe they changed that.

My front rim is from a 250ex and it fits fine.

The 300ex and 400ex use the EXACT same wheel. Same bolt pattern and size---4/144 on front and 4/110 on rear.

if im correct all honda sport/high performance quads have 4/110 in the rear. im not sure about the front though.

all 400ex,300ex,250x,and 250r bolt patterns are the same and possibly for the 250ex and the back rims on a 350x.

I thought they fit. The 87 250x has a 4 bolt pattern on 110mm in the front. All the other quads are 4 on 140mm. Thanks for the help!

it's gonna sound silly but do you know a rim from a ford escort and other various small cars will fit these very same bolt patterns????i'm not sure what cars in specific but my buddy built a go-kart(4 cylinder street bike engine:D) with parts of a 250x frame.kept the same front rolling chassis and front part of the frame.he had to modify by widening it but has car rims and tires bolted to the front stock honda hubs.i think it would be neat to throw a set on the back and smoke them off.a doughnut spare would probably be small enough to fit w/o rubbing the fender,nerfor peg:D

Yes the 400ex rims & tires will fit on a 300ex but if you put them on a 300ex it will give them a complex.
