I just bought some Mobil 0w40 Synthetic for my 06 450 engine. (Now that it's broke in) Is this the right viscosity? and also what is the best to run in my transmission? I heard synthetics are not good for the clutch. any help appreciated.

Synthetics are better for your engine reguardless what side it is. Just make sure that they don't have friction modifiers because they will make the clutch slip. Your safest bet would be to go with a 10w-40 synthetic that is specifically made for a motorcycle engine. Amsoil, Klotz, Pro Honda, Maxima, Bel Ray are among some of the best out there. And the 0w40 should be fine for you, just make sure that you don[t put it in the clutch if it has friction modifiers.
