I have a MInt 05 motor and was curious what i could do to it to get a little more out of it. I have the following so far
HMF slip on
Aluminum airbox with no lid
Twin Air filter
170 jet
Would it be worth it to throw in a cam?? FMF powerbomb header?
Bigger carb??
I am new to doing performance work to these but I am competent to do it.
not a bigger carb unless ur doing a bigger bore a cam u would want to do a high compression piston and then u can do exhaust
increase the cc's then add carb.. definity dont do it the other way around

I would do a 416 kit with Hd studs, hotcams stage 2. 11:1 je piston. and a aftermarket high rev cdi to compement the stage 2 cam.
wont be the same quad.

Basically I dont want to rip apart a perfect motor.
Guess Ill have to find a spare motor to build up.
