Ok so i was ridin last weekend and my chain flew off and got caught up in between the sprocket and frame. while it did that the chain made the part that the bolt goes into, like on the motor, it broke. so now i am running without a case saver. has this happened to anyone else? and what did you do to fix it?

JB weld the thread part back onto the motor then get yourself a NOSS machine case saver that has a bottom part that goes around your shift shaft for added support. C&D have them so just PM them to quote you a price. They are worth the money IMO.

It seems if you have an '06 and don't change the case saver, when your chain breaks it's toast. It's happened to several of us. Definately see if you can find a way to mount up the Noss one.
