Please, Help Me!!!

Ok, heres were im at... This is the third piston ive put in this quad (along with rings). And ive owned it for a little over a year, the last piston i bored it out one size over, put in a new crank and had the whole engine rebuilt. AGAIN, it is burning oil.... Anyway this could just be the valves, because my quad ticks loudly now with stock cam??? HOPEFULLY IT IS!! Because im freakin broke.

Its most likey your vavles. Why did you have to put 3 new pistions in one year on your 400ex?

Well, the first piston went because my oil tank had a crack in it and i lost my oil on the track (overheated and cracked piston), the second time i sunk my quad in a river and started it up and completely screwed the engine over with sand.

Might be your valve seals.

How much work and how much money is it to put in "oversized" valves and would i see a differance in power??

Check your valve seals. Are you breaking it in right?

I dont have time to take the engine apart right now so im taking it in to my mechanic hopefully tomorrow (i hate having to pay for mechanics) but yea, im breaking it in the way everyone told me to.
